πŸ›‘οΈ Verification Process

AddisRealty verification process

Exactly what the "Verified" badge means β€” and what it does not.

βœ… What the "Verified" badge confirms

  • βœ“Agent's business / brokerage license β€” cross-checked against Ethiopia's Ministry of Trade
  • βœ“Agent's Kebele ID document
  • βœ“Listing photos are real and current β€” not stock images or photos of a different unit
  • βœ“Asking price is within reason for the neighbourhood

⚠️ What we explicitly do not verify

  • !Direct legal status of the property title / karta β€” this must be confirmed at the Woreda/Kebele office before any payment
  • !The seller's ultimate authority to sell on the owner's behalf
  • !Number of years remaining on the leasehold
  • !Whether the property has any outstanding mortgage or lien
  • !Disputes with neighbours or boundary disagreements

Always run your own due diligence at the Woreda/Kebele land registry before signing anything or transferring funds.
